Synopsis:

This documentary shows the circumstances on which the first two Dominican movies were produced in 1923 and 1924 respectively.

With films like "La Leyenda de la Virgen de la Altagracia" (“The Legend of the Virgin La Altagracia) and "Las Emboscadas de Cupido" (Cupid Ambush), Francisco Arturo Palau, the filmmaker, became the first Dominican to produce a movie in the Dominican Republic.
