DOMINICAN DOCUMENTARIES

This videocassette contains three short documentary films:

- Caribe: A musical with allegorical images of the African and European backgrounds of the inhabitants of the Caribbean through the sounds of salsa.

- Images of an artist: This documentary shows various aspects of the political and cultural life of the Dominican Republic, through the work of artist Frank Almánzar.

- Following in the Footsteps of Palau: Shows the circumstances in which Francisco Palau, the first Dominican filmmakes, made his films in 1920 in the city of Santo Domingo.
